Barbati Gallery

Barbati Gallery is located in Palazzo Lezze, a Gothic architecture from the Renaissance in the heart of Venice, on Campo Santo Stefano. The rich heritage and the distinguishing Venetian identity of the gallery reflect the identity of its founder Michele Barbati – an Italian native who grew up surrounded by artists, gallerists and collectors and spent his childhood in Venice. After working at David Kordansky Gallery in Los Angeles for seven years, Barbati returns to the Lagoon to launch his enterprise and to create a new chapter in contemporary art for Venice. Barbati Gallery envisions a program of year-round exhibitions and projects, inviting prominent contemporary artists and new talents from all over the world.
