Artissima

Establishment in 1994, Artissima is known as the curated contemporary art fair as it combines both the presence of an international market and the focus on experimentation and research.

Every year, the fair welcomes around two hundred galleries from around the world participate. In addition to the fair, Artissima is also composed of three art sections, headed by a board of international curators and museum directors, devoted to emerging artists, drawings and rediscovering the great pioneers of contemporary art.

It is curated by Artissima Srl, a company connected with the Fondazione Torino Musei, and formed in 2008 to manage the fair’s artistic and commercial relations. The Artissima trademark belongs to Città di Torino, Città Metropolitana di Torino e Regione Piemonte.
