Eugénia Mussa: Release the chicken!

“Release the chicken!”, is the second solo show by Eugénia Mussa at Monitor Lisbon.

The apocalypse without being an apocalypse in the universe of Mussa’s works is increasingly evident. Her artworks display a latent collapse that has been observed for years by an extraterrestrial (and extraterritorial) visiting species, which is shared with us and made observable through manual pictorial records of moments, places, beings, objects, and symbols that seem unaware of the catastrophic hecatomb that completes them.
